Nestled amidst a coconut grove, the Ayurveda Walauwa is a delightful hideaway on Sri Lanka's south coast. Developed around the 120-yr-old colonial mansion this resort's noble mission is to "to always be the best and most authentic Ayurveda Health Resort in Sri Lanka."

Resort Region
Only fifty meters from the famous white sandy beach of the Bentota National Holiday Resort this is the perfect seaside getaway. The surrounding three-meter wall absorbs street noise, allowing guests to stroll around the verdant gardens in privacy. The delights of Bentota are nearby with plentiful restaurants, temples and shops.

65 kilometers south of Colombo. Transfers cost @ 70 Euro per person

Cuisine
Fresh, sumptuous buffets are provided for eating al fresco or in the dining room. Dishes are mainly vegetarian with some fish options.

Accommodation
There are 20 spacious rooms and 2 superior suites.
Each large room is tastefully decorated with period furnishings in keeping with the 120-year-old manor.
Seven rooms have garden views and the others have a small courtyard view.

Room Facilities
The two superior suites have a living room. All rooms have a desk and chairs, toiletries, stationary, towels, central a/c and a thermos morning and evening.

Ayurvedic Experts
Ayurveda Walauwa has operated solely as an Ayurvedic treatment centre for ten years and guarantees authentic treatments and a conducive healing environment.

There is one chief ayurvedic physician & three assistant doctors all with a BAMS diploma (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) from Colombo University. The primary consulting physician Dr M.S.P. Cooray Vidyashekhara has a wealth of wisdom gleaned from thirty years experience.

Medicines are either manufactured by Sribudhasa on the premises or procured from Link & State Ayurvedic Corp.

Ayurvedic Therapies for specific conditions-
All conditions are treated with an individualized healing program.
Acupuncture is a specialty of the centre.
